Punjab Witnesses Low Intensity Blast Near Golden Temple
One person was injured in a low-intensity explosion that took place on a heritage street near the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab. No detonator has been found and it appears that the explosive was kept in a container, DGP Gaurav Yadav said, adding that it is too early to claim any terror angle yet. Police and forensic teams reached the spot and security was stepped up in the area.

2 Army Jawan Killed In Terrorist Attack: Jammu & Kashmir
In a terrorist blast, two Army jawans died in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri region. As per sources, the blast occurred in the afternoon, during the search operation conducted by army officials, based on the input of the presence of terrorists in Rajouri. The operation is underway to catch the terrorists, hiding in the region. Meanwhile, the injured personnel have been shifted to hospital and are undergoing treatment.

Parked Bus In Udhampur Region Blasts, 2nd In 8 Hours: Jammu & Kashmir
In Jammu and Kashmir, another blast was reported in just 8 hours, on September 28 night. In Udhampur a blast that occurred in a bus at 10:45 pm, at Domail chowk. Earlier, two people were injured after a blast occurred in an empty bus parked at a petrol pump in Udhampur at night on September 28. However, no casualty was reported in both the blast took place in just eight-hours.

IED Explosion Kills 5 Taliban Militants & 1 Civilian In Afghanistan
An IED explosion in Afghanistan's Spin Boldak area killed at least five Taliban combatants and one civilian. The explosion happened early in the morning on June 9. Security personnel were dispatched to the scene to examine the incident. Blasts are not uncommon in Afghanistan; on June 4, a bomb occurred in Kabul's Police District-4 using explosives transported on a bicycle, according to the Kabul security agency.

Man Confesses To 3 Bomb Blasts In Imphal, Says Was Paid Rs 30,000: Manipur
Manipur police has arrested a 46-year-old man, who is believed to be responsible for a string of low-intensity blasts in and around city, in the recent weeks. The accused identified as Thounaojam Rishi Luwangcha has been arrested and explosives, detonators and cordtex wires have been seized from his possession. According to the police, Thounaojam confessed to his crime, and said that he was paid Rs 30,000 for each blasts.

Hapur Factory Blast Death Toll Rises To 13, FIR Against Factory Owner, Director
The number of fatalities in the chemical factory explosion in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, increased to 13 on June 5. Two people have been charged with culpable homicide in connection with the case. The cause of the explosion will be determined after the Forensic Science Laboratory investigation is completed. As per the initial investigation, 33 people were present at the plant at the time of the occurrence.

Blast In J&K's Shopian Leaves 3 Soldiers Injured
In Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian, three soldiers have been injured in a blast, on June 2. Reportedly, the blast took place in a private vehicle, and is suspected to have been caused due to a grenade or an IED, tweeted Kashmir zone police. However, the exact source for the blast is yet to be ascertained. The injured have been admitted to a hospital for treatment.

Over 100 Dead In Blast At Nigerian Oil Refinery
More than a hundred people have been killed in a blast at an illegal oil refinery in Nigeria. The incident occurred late in the day in Egbema. Collins Ajir, a community leader, has expressed sorrow over the incident, calling the tragic incident "unfortunate." It may be noted that cases of oil theft as well as oil pipeline vandalism are frequently reported across the country.

Suspected Blast Reported In Jammu Village Ahead Of PM Modi's Visit
Ahead of PM Modi's Jammu visit, a suspected blast was reported in the Lalian village of Bishnah area, on April 24. According to police, the suspected blast was reported by villagers in an open agricultural land in Lalian village. The matter is currently being investigated, and security checks have been initiated at the venue in Palli village, where PM Modi is scheduled to address the Panchayats across the country.
