Jammu And Kashmir: Indian Army Turns Its Flag Colour To Blue From Red
The Indian army has changed the colour of flags to blue from red on its military convoy vehicles to be more enchanting for the public. Over the walls of Army cantonments, the army has decided to put pictures of young achievers from Kashmir. Moreover, the troops will replace lathis with whistles for stopping vehicles. Reportedly, these measures are adopted to restore normalcy in the region after the abrogation of Article 370.

Eight Indian Beaches Awarded With 'Blue Flag' Certification
Union Environmental Minister Prakash Javadekar on October 11 announced that eight Indian beaches have been accredited with 'Blue Flag' certification in a single attempt, by an international jury. They include - Shivrajpur, Ghoghla, Kasarkod and Padubidri, Kappad, Rushikonda, Golden Beach and Radhanagar.
