In Jharkhand’s Bokaro, a man has been brutally beaten to death over an alleged inter-community love affair, informed police on October 7. Jharkhand Reports 4 Cases Of Swine Flu; Officials On High Alert
The state of Jharkhand has reported four cases of Swine Flu, informed Jharkhand National Health mission on August 28. The cases have been reported form three districts, which are Bokaro, Ranchi and Giridih. The health department further stated that officials in the state are on high alert, and are ready to take measures to control the spread of Swine Flu. Further details on the matter are awaited.

Lightning Strike Incident Near Jharkhand School Leaves 6 Student Seriously Injured
In Jharkhand's Bokaro district, school students complained complications when a lightning strike near a government school on July 23. The incident happened around 12:24 pm, when classes were going on at Bandhdih Middle School in Jaridih block, Bokaro.
