Actor Richa Chadha Receives Bharat Ratna Dr Ambedkar Award 2020
Actor Richa Chadha has been conferred with Bharat Ratna Dr Ambedkar Award 2020 by the Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Richa stated, "It’s an honour that I will hold close to my heart. For an actor who has had no godfather, every achievement feels precious and well earned." Richa's previous films - 'Panga' and 'Section 375' - had garnered a lot of critical acclaim from the industry and audiences.

Bollywood Actor, Filmmaker Vishal Anand Passes Away At 82
A popular Bollywood film-maker and actor of the 70's Bhisham Kohli, well-known as 'Vishal Anand', passed away at 82 on October 4. Vishal Anand's family said “He was not keeping in good health since the last couple of months.” They mentioned that they would like people to remember him from his classic movies like 'Chalte Chalte (1976)' and 'Taxi Driver'. He had produced some movies as well.

Surekha Sikri Recovering, Looks Forward to Work Again, Her Agent Confirms
Veteran actor Surekha Sikri is recovering well at her residence in Bandra, Mumbai after suffering from a brain stroke, her agent, Vivek Sidhwani informed on September 26. The actor was discharged from the hospital earlier this week, after getting admitted on September 8, and is looking forward to work again. “She has started physiotherapy along with her continuing medical treatment. The recovery is going to take some time,” he added.

Bollywood Fraternity Pays Condolences to the Late Filmmaker Nishikant Kamat
Filmmaker Nishikant Kamat, critically acclaimed for his movies "Madaari" and "Drishyam" died on August 17 in Hyderabad due to multiple organ failure.
