I&B Ministry Appoints Shekhar Kapur As Chairman Of FTII
The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has appointed filmmaker Shekhar Kapur as chairman of The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) governing council. Reportedly, Kapur's tenure for the post will end in March 2023. The head of the FTII student body, Aadith V Sathvin said, "We strongly urge him to take note of the ongoing fee hike issues and curbing of students’ voices in the Academic Council".
