Police Seize Eight Live Bombs In Bihar's Vaishali District
Police officials on November 21, confiscated eight live explosives, four days before the panchayat polls in Bihar's Vaishali district, according to an officer. He claimed the devices were recovered and defused in Javaj village, which is under the authority of Mahnar police station. Illegal Bomb Production Kills TMC Worker in Bengal, Party Denies Involvement
Humayun Kabir (40), a TMC worker, was killed in a bomb explosion, on August 15. Jangipur Police said, "Kabir was making bombs on the roof of his house. One of the bombs went off accidentally and he was fatally injured". Police have also mentioned that the illegal bomb-making activity began as assembly polls are approaching in Bengal. TMC has denied the involvement of any party worker in the incident.
