In shocking news, Delhi Public School located at Mathura Road in the national capital received a bomb threat via e-mail. Immediately after the incident, local authorities have rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.Police vans and ambulances reached the spot to deal with the emergency. After investigation, South-East DCP Rajesh Deo said, "There is no threat as no suspicious object found on the school premises yet." 

The Union Civil Aviation received a bomb threat in an Iranian-origin aircraft, Mahan Air flight headed to Guangzhou in China from Tehran in Iran, scheduled to cross over the Indian airbase. Amid the threat, and refusal of landing in India, Indian Air Force Su-30MKI fighter jets from Punjab and Jodhpur airbases were scrambled to intercept the plane, which avoided landing. Moreover, the nature of the threat call is unclear.

A private airline flying from Chennai to Dubai got a false bomb threat call on August 27. The Birsa Munda Airport in Jharkhand's Ranchi received a bomb threat from an unknown person on July 28. The security officials upon receiving the threat, conducted a thorough search, and found nothing suspicious. The airport then declared the threat, a "hoax". Notably, Birsa Munda Airport has been ranked high in the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) survey. 

After a bomb threat was received at Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport on the morning of May 16, surveillance was increased. The authorities are investigating the information. After the threat call, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Border Security Force, and the dog squad conducted a search. More information will be released later, according to authorities.
