Two Afghan Nationals Among 4 Arrested In Delhi Drug Bust

Two Afghan nationals are among the four persons recently arrested in Delhi's Bhogal, in connection with an India-Afghanistan drug syndicate. Those involved in this syndicate would manufacture and adulterate heroin in the local areas, the probe has revealed. One investigator, who is privy to the details of the case, has shared that the man leading the syndicate is based in Dubai.

Hubli Stone Pelting Incident: 146 Persons Arrested Including Another AIMIM Leader

As many as 146 people have been booked over the Hubli stone pelting incident. Among those arrested was AIMIM political leader and the Hubli unit president, Dadapeer Betgeri. It is known that out of the 146 persons, around 145 of the accused have been sent to Hubli, Ballari, Dharwad, Mysore, and Kalbugri jails. All of them would reportedly remain in judicial custody for more than one month.

Assam: 3 ULFA Members Nabbed For Plotting Assassination Of State FM

The Assam Police have booked three people for plotting the assassination of State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Identified as members of the rebel outfit United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA), one among the arrested was ULFA’s vice-chairman Pradip Gogoi. The nabbed accused had reportedly planned to assassinate Himanta using explosives and firearms. The city court has granted a three-day custody of the trio to the Assam Police.
