British Novelist Sunjeev Sahota Launches New Book 'China Room'
Booker prize nominee and British novelist Sunjeev Sahota has unveiled his new book named 'China Room' that sheds light on his own family's past. Set in Punjab, the book narrates the pain and struggle of a woman in early 20th century. Besides, it interestingly captures the journey of the author's family at the time of India's independence while laying stress on the historical events. The book is published by Penguin Random House India.

Douglas Stuart Bags Booker Prize 2020 For His Debut Novel "Shuggie Bain"
The highly acclaimed Booker Prize, for this year, was bagged by 44-year-old New York-Based writer Douglas Stuart on November 19. He was awarded for his debut novel "Shuggie Bain". In the book, Douglas portrayed a working-class family of Glasgow and shared his personal experiences. He said growing up in Glasgow was his biggest inspiration. The winner of the Booker prize is awarded an amount of $60,000 and gets international recognition.
