Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh took a stock of security at the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, on June 16. Indo-China Border Security Budget Increased By 6 Folds: MHA
The Ministry of Home Affairs informed Lok Sabha that the budget allocated for the border security in the northeastern area, were increased by six folds in year 2021-22. The statement came after MP Dilip Saikia raised a question regarding the funds allocated for the said purpose. Reportedly, Rs 42.87 crore were allocated for the Indo-China border security in the year 2020-21. Whereas in 2021-22, Rs 249.12 crore were allocated.

ISRO To Launch GISAT-1 On Mar 28 For Realtime Border, Disaster Vigil
The Indian Space and Research Organisation has planned to launch an earth observation satellite on March 28 to enhance the Geo monitoring of India. Named GISAT-1, the satellite will provide real-time images of the borders and will help in monitoring natural disasters.
