Japan Looks To Ban Gasoline-Powered Vehicles; Bats For Hybrid Ones
The Japanese government is planning to rule out gasoline-powered vehicles by mid-2030s to curb net carbon emissions to zero before 2050. Likely to be planned by 2020 end, the scheme will replace conventional vehicles with hybrid and electric-powered automobiles.
