Siraj Becomes First Indian Debutant In 7 Years To Take 5 Wickets

Achieving a top-notch feat, Mohammed Siraj became the first Indian debutant to pick five wickets in a debut test match in the last seven years. Siraj's wickets included those of Cameron Green, Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne. Moreover, he credited his partner Jasprit Bumrah for encouraging him. Earlier, Mohammed Shami was the last Indian bower achieve the feat in a debut Test in 2013.

India Beats Australia In Boxing-Day Test; Levels Series 1-1

India has defeated Australia by 8 wickets at the historic boxing-day Melbourne test. Chasing a 70 run target on the fourth day, Debutant Shubman Gill and skipper Ajinkya Rahane - the man of the match- led India to victory. With a 131 runs lead on the board, the Indian bowlers wrapped Australia’s second innings on 200. With this win, India has levelled the four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy series 1-1.
