Floyd Mayweather To Receive $10 Mn For Fight Against Logan Paul

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is expected to bag nearly $10 million for his upcoming match against YouTuber Logan Paul on June 6, along with his 50% pay-per-view share. In contrast, Paul's base price has been fixed at $2.5 million with a 10% pay-per-view share. Nicknamed 'Money', Mayweather had earned over $275 million for his previous match against UFC star Conor McGregor in 2017.

Indian Women Boxers Win 7 Of 10 Gold Medal At AIBA Youth Championship

Indian boxing contingent has bagged seven of the 10 gold medals in the 2021 AIBA Youth Men’s and Women’s World Boxing Championships held in Poland. Boxers Alfiya Pathan, Thokchom Sanamacha Chanu, Arundhati Choudhary, Vinka, Poonam, Babyrojisana Chanu, and Gitika bagged the medals in 48kg to +81kg categories. Finishing top in the medal tally, interestingly, Sachin was the only Indian in the finals of AIBA's Men's edition.

The Tokyo Olympics will witness the final appearance of Indian ace-boxer and six-time world champion Mary Kom. “Tokyo will be my last Olympics, age matters here. I’m 38 now, going on 39," said the boxer who had earlier qualified for the Olympics, defeating a younger challenger in 2019.
