Surpassing Boys, Girl Children Clock 75% Of Adoptions In Last 6 Years

The Women and Child Development Ministry have revealed that out of 16,856 children eligible for adoption in the last six years, nearly 75% accounted for girls. Reportedly, 9,895 girls up to age 18 were adopted between 2015-16 and 2020-21 as compared to 6,961 boys.
