UAE Decides to Scrap Economic Boycott Against Israel

The United Arab Emirates' ruler on August 29 has scrapped an economic boycott against Israel. The decision, mediated by the US, will open up the relations between the oil-rich UAE and diamond-rich Israel to undertake trade and financial agreements. The UAE official news agency WAM reported, "The decree of the new law comes within the UAE's efforts to expand diplomatic and commercial cooperation with Israel."
