Ayan Mukerji is said to be out of the Dharma Productions tie-up for the sequel of Brahmastra. The first sequel which was under the Dharma banner will now be released by some other banner, buzz Bollywood sources. Notably the rumour started with the recent post of Ayan Mukerji, regarding the announcement of Brahmastra 2 and Brahmastra 3, in which he didn't tag Dharma, neither it shared by Karan Johar.

Taking to Instagram, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut called Ayan Mukherjee directed "Brahmastra" a disaster.
