Under-Construction Bridge Collapses In Bihar's Katihar; Several Labourers Injured
In Bihar's Katihar, sevaral labourers sustained injuries after an under construction bridge collapsed on August 1. Former RJD MLA Niraj Yadav alleged negligence from the side of the department. He further claimed that two child labourers are stuck inside, which the administration is not disclosing. Notably, the foundation stone for the project was laid around five to six months ago.

Under-Construction Bridge Collapses In Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag; At Least 12 Dead, 4 Trapped
In Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag, an under-construction bridge collapsed near Narkota area, killing more than half a dozen labourers, on July 20. The bridge was located on Rishikesh-Badrinath highway, just six kilometres from Rudraprayag. Reportedly, six people have been rescued and admitted to a hospital, and four-five are feared to have been trapped. SDRF and police officials are present on site, to carry out the rescue operation.
