Helipad Landing Of BS Yeddyurappa Obstructed Due To Garbage, Video Goes Viral

The video of the cancelled landing of former Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa was caught on camera. The video showed the helicopter coming close to the ground and flying back up after the garbage ground obstructed the landing at the helipad. The plastic covering the helipad had to be quickly removed by the security personnel on the ground. The helicopter was later successfully landed. The video went viral.

Former CM Yediyurappa Awarded The Best Legislator In Karnataka

Karnataka Assembly awarded the Former CM BS Yediyurappa with the best Legislator for 2020-21 on September 24. Current Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla bestowed the memento to Yediyurappa in the Karnataka assembly. Notably, Yediyurappa won as an MLA for the first time in 1983 to join Karnataka Assembly. In his long political career, he also served as a Karanatka's CM four times before stepping down in July 2021.

Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa Set To Resign From His Post

Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa has finally confirmed that he will resign from his post on July 26. Talking about the occasion of the two-year celebration of BJP in the state, he said ''he will meet the Governor after lunch'' and hand over his resignation to him. Notably, he took the decision following week-long speculation of his resignation. However, BJP is yet to announce a new CM.

K'taka: CM Yediyurappa Recovers From COVID; Calls Cabinet Meet Today

Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa was discharged from Bengaluru's Manipal hospital on April 22 after he recovered from COVID-19 for the second time. The 78-year-old CM said, "I am healthy now after the treatment. I have called cabinet meeting today at 4PM." Reportedly, CM Yediyurappa first contracted COVID in August 2020. Currently, Karnataka government has requested Centre to provide 1,500 metric tonnes of oxygen and one lakh Remdesivir vials.

Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa Cautions State People On Imposing Lockdown

Amid crossing 10,000 COVID-19 cases reported in Karnataka on April 11, CM BS Yediyurappa cautioned the state people on imposing lockdown if failed to cooperate. The state Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar said that it is expected to have 25,000-30,000 COVID-19 cases by April end. The government is not willing to impose lockdown but do not compel us with non-cooperation, said Ministers cautioning the state people.
