BTS Singer J-Hope Says Sorry To Fans For His Feelings In New Single 'MORE'
BTS member J-Hope surprised ARMY with his pre-release MORE, released on July 1, ahead of launching his debut solo Jack In The Box. J-Hope issued a statement for his followers on Twitter stating, “I am feeling thankful, perhaps also sorry for many ARMYs all around the world for accepting those thoughts and emotions together!!!” The announcement came after BTS revealed they will be taking a break to work on solo projects.

BTS Declares Break To Concentrate On Solo Careers Leaving Fans Disappointed
BTS disclosed they will be taking a break to focus on their individual careers, with a number of separate projects in development on June 14 at BTS' Festa dinner, which is part of a yearly commemoration of their formation. BTS Set New Personal Records With Their New Album Proof
BTS released their new album, Proof, on June 10, with the new title song, Yet To Come. Proof's new songs debuted at the top of Spotify's daily Global Top 200 list on the first day of release. Yet to Come premiered at No. 3 on Spotify's daily worldwide chart after accumulating 7,178,605 streams in its first day, surpassing BTS's personal record for most first-day streams of any Korean-language song released.

At the Billboard Music Awards 2022, the BTS band made history yet again. The band beat their own record for most nominations in a single year. After collecting three awards during the event, the band set a new record. BTS has now won a total of 12 awards, making them the only group to do it. Destiny's Child set a record 17 years ago with 11 victories.

BTS Wins Artist Of The Year At AMAs 2021
Korean boy band BTS, won the most honorable award 'Artist of the Year', at the American Music Awards 2021 held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Furthermore, the award was more special for the band as it was their American TV debut stage. Notably, in 2017, the band performed DNA at the AMAs. The band leader, RM said, "Very surprised. I don't know what to say."

BTS and Ed Sheeran were the top winners at the 2021 MTV European Music Awards, which took place on November 15.
