Telangana Budget To Begin With Governor's Address On Feb 3
Telangana Budget Session is all set to begin on February 3, with the Governor's address. This will be the first time in the past two years that the Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, amid the rift between the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Government and the State Governor. Furthermore, this is said to be the last budget presented under the leadership of K Chandrashekar Rao Government, ahead of 2023 elections.

Indo-China Border Security Budget Increased By 6 Folds: MHA
The Ministry of Home Affairs informed Lok Sabha that the budget allocated for the border security in the northeastern area, were increased by six folds in year 2021-22. The statement came after MP Dilip Saikia raised a question regarding the funds allocated for the said purpose. Reportedly, Rs 42.87 crore were allocated for the Indo-China border security in the year 2020-21. Whereas in 2021-22, Rs 249.12 crore were allocated.

J&K Allotted Rs 1.42 Lakh Crore Budget By Parliament For FY 2022-23
The parliament has approved a Rs 1.42 lakh crore budget for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the year 2022-23, on March 23. The Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Bill, 2022 and The Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation (No.2) Bill, 2022 were approved by Lok Sabha on March 14. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that after the abrogation of Article 370, "you see justice reaching" to the residents of J&K.

Jharkhand Govt Unveils Rs 1.01 Lakh Crore Budget For Fiscal Year 2022-23
Jharkhand government on March 3, unveiled a budget of Rs 1.01 lakh crore for the fiscal year 2022-23. The new budget focuses on enhances health and infrastructure. PM Narendra Modi stated that the Union Budget 2022-23 focuses on providing basic necessities to the middle-class, poor and youth, on February 2. He further stated that this year's budget will lead the country towards "modernization". He said, "seven to eight years ago, India's GDP was Rs 1.10 lakh crore.
