Massive Fire Breaks Out In Bengaluru Building, Video Circulates

A major fire was reported from Bengaluru's Sarjapur road on March 9.  The fire was reported after a Twitter user, shared visuals of the incident. In the video, the blaze erupted in a building near Kaikondanahalli lake, and now is being circulated on Twitter. Furthermore fire tenders rushed to the spot and launched rescue operation and are trying to douse the fire.

Fire Breaks Out In Mumbai's Agripada

A fire broke out in the Agripada area of Mumbai early on 20th April. The incident took place on the second floor of a building in the Agripada area. Four engines were immediately sent to the scene of the incident after the fire broke out. The cause of the incident is yet not known. More details about the incident are awaited.

SC Orders To Demolish 40 Storey Building For Illegal Construction

The Supreme Court (SC) on February 7, ordered the demolition of twin tech tower buildings in Noida, as the construction was illegal, violating building norms. The Apex Court asked the Noida CEO to hold a meeting with concerned officials and begin the demolition works in two weeks. The constructors of the 40-storey tower, at sector 83, has been asked to refund the money of home buyers with 12% interest.

SC Condemns Supertech For Building Twin Towers On Green Area

The Supreme Court regarded Supertech’s decision on building 40-storey twin towers under a housing project in Noida on green land as “palpably wrong.” In 2017, Allahabad HC had declared the project illegal and asked for the demolition of the building. “Bringing down the building would be a disaster for adjoining building and environment,” said Advocate Gaurav Agarwal, who is assisting the court as amicus curiae.
