In a tragic accident, a four-year-old girl lost her life, after a building collapsed in Lahori gate, Delhi. The incident occurred on the evening of October 9, confirmed the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). The force further added, that approximately 10 people were severely injured, and are currently undergoing treatment at the LPJ Hospital, whereas one is said to be serious. Moreover, an investigation into the matter is underway.

In Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur region, an under-construction of Islamia University collapsed on September 21 night. In Maharashtra’s Thane, the slab of the fifth floor of the Komal Park building collapsed, informed investigating officer Laxmikant Patil, on August 26. The incident left one labourer dead, and another injured. Following the incident, helpers rushed and evacuated everyone from the building.
