Taliban Mandates Face-Coverings For Women In Public

On May 7, the Taliban announced yet another decree for women. The Taliban has now mandated face-coverings for women in public. The group stressed that women must cover their faces in public, and recommended the use of burqas. The Taliban has banned men and women from visiting parks at the same time. The group has also imposed travel restrictions on women.
