In J&K's Udhampur district, a bus fell into a gorg, leaving eight children injured, on August 6. The min bus was en route from Barmeen village to Udhampur. Reportedly, the driver lost control, and the bus skidded off the road and fell near Massora. Meanwhile, all the injured have been shifted to a district hospital. In Himachal Pradesh's Shimla region, fourteen passengers left severely injured after their bus fell into a gorge, on July 28. Notably, a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus was on its way to Theog from Jarai, skid off the road near Baghar Kenchi and Huli Sub Division Theog, rolling down 50-60 feet below the road, confirmed the State Disaster Management. Furthermore, injured people are being treated at healthcare centres.

In Uttar Pradesh's Etah region, a passenger named Jaswant (45) was killed and 18 people, including five women, were left severely injured, after a bus overturned here after its driver lost control. On July 19, the police confirmed the details saying, the accident took place in Harchandpur village under the Malavan police station, and was plying from Kanpur to Meerut. Furthermore, the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

In Karnataka's Kalaburagi region, an unfortunate road accident took place, killing seven people, and leaving several others injured. At 6:30 am, on June 3, a bus carrying 29 passengers, collided with a lorry and caught fire. Notably, the bus was traveling from Goa to Hyderabad. While seven people died on spot, others including the driver received serious burns and are undergoing treatment at various hospitals.

In a tragic incident, approximately 35passengers traveling in a bus had a narrow escape after the vehicle caught fire in Maharashtra's Nagpur. On May 5, near the Reserve Bank square, the city civic bus running between, Mor Bhawan to Khaparkheda area, caught fire, starting from the engine side. The Nagpur Municipal Corporation's chief fire officer Rajendra Uchake said, fire tenders are dousing the fire and confirmed no casualties.
