Pune Sex Racket Case: Two Arrested, Eight Women Rescued
A sex racket operating out of Pune's Kanak Spa, located near Baner area was busted on September 8. Reportedly, around eight women, lured into sex trafficking were rescued who belong to different parts of the country. However, the racket was only confirmed after a decoy customer who was sent by the police, confirmed it, leading to arrests. Besides, an FIR has been lodged at Chaturshringi police station, and the accused have been arrested.

NIA Arrests Nine Terrorists in Links with Al-Qaeda; Weapons & Firearms Seized
The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) arrested nine terrorists from West Bengal's Murshidabad and Kerala's Ernakulam, in links with Al-Qaeda on September 19. Delhi: Sex Racket in the Name of Spa Centre Busted
Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) busted a sex racket that was running under the name of "Amazing Spa," a spa and massage centre. Reportedly an unknown caller had dialed the 181 helpline number and informed that there are spa centres that are "indulged in illegal prostitution activities”. DCW Chief Swati Maliwal stated that they were shocked to see how these centres have mushroomed in every nook and corner of the Capital.

Drug Racket Busted In Bengaluru; TV Actress Arrested
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has busted a drug racket in Bengaluru that used to provide drugs to Sandalwood celebrities and VIPs. The NCB officials arrested television actress Anika D and two of her associates M Anoop and R Ravindran during the raid. Besides, drugs in huge quantity were also seized. Reportedly, the gang used to supply drugs to top musicians, actors, and kids of VIPs in Karnataka.
