The Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal (United) and its alliance Rashtriya Janata Dal, expanded its cabinet and inducted 30 ministers. On August 16, the newly elected ministers, including 15 legislators of the RJD took the oath of office as berth ministers. JD(U) MLAs Leshi Singh, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Bijendra Yadav, Madan Sahni, Sheela Kumari Mandal, and others took oath in the first batch at Rajendra Mandal, at Raj Bhavan, Patna.
Nitish Kumar Government is set to expand the Cabinet on August 16. Recently Janata Dal United- Rashtriya Janata Dal formed the State Government in Bihar after Nitish Kumar announced an exit from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The cabinet expansion to take place at 11:30 am. As per sources, RJD will induct 15 ministers, JDU will have 12 ministers and ally Congress to get two ministers, in total 36 ministers.

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde assured Cabinet expansion soon. Notably, after the turmoil of the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Government, Shinde with support of the BJP formed the State Government and took oath as CM along with Devendra Fadnavis as Deputy CM on June 30. "We will soon expand our cabinet. Even as the cabinet expansion has not taken place, the government is working efficiently." said Shinde assuring expansion soon.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann conducted his first Cabinet expansion and inducted five AAP MLAs on July 4. The Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit administered the oath of office and secrecy to the MLAs at Guru Nanak Dev Auditorium of Punjab Raj Bhawan. MLAs inducted are Aman Arora, Dr Inderbir Singh Najjar, Fauja Singh Sarari, Chetan Singh Jourmajra, and Anmol Gagan Mann, who is the second woman in the Cabinet.

One month after BJP returned to power in the state of Manipur, the cabinet strength has been expanded to 12 members, with the addition of six new members from BJP, on April 16. Governor of the state La Ganeshan administered the oath ceremony of the new ministers. Out of the 12 total cabinet members, 10 are from BJP and two from Naga People's Font (NPF).
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant expanded his Cabinet for the first time after winning the 2022 Goa Assembly elections, on April 9. The new MLAs inducted in the BJP-led Goa Cabinet are; Ramakrishna alias Sudhin Dhavalikar, Subhash Phal Dessai, and Nikanth Halarnkar. Governor PS Sridharan Pillai administered the oath of office to the new ministers at Durbar Hall, in Dona Paula, Goa. With new ministers, Goa has 11 Cabinet ministers.
The Chief Minister's office (CMO) of the Haryana government announced that the government's cabinet expansion will be held on December 28. It further said that the oath-taking ceremony will take place at the Haryana Raj Bhavan at 4 pm on the same day. Earlier, the Manohar Lal Khattar-led government's cabinet expansion was held on November 14.
