Odisha Cabinet Minsters Resign, New Cabinet To Take Oath At 11:45 AM

Focusing on the 2024 General elections, the Naveen Patnaik led Cabinet ministers in Odisha and submitted their resignationstion. This is the first time in Odisha political history that the entire Cabinet, including those doing good, submitted their resignations. Sri Lankan Cabinet ministers submitted their resignations with immediate effect, from April 4, amid the worst economic crisis in the nation. Education Minister and Leader of the House, Dinesh Gunawardena said the Cabinet Ministers handed over their mass resignations to PM Mahinda Rajapaksa. Notably, the citizens of Sri Lanka came out on the streets to protest against the Rajapaksa administration amid the economic crisis.

Haryana Govt's Cabinet Expansion To Be Held On Dec 28

The Chief Minister's office (CMO) of the Haryana government announced that the government's cabinet expansion will be held on December 28. It further said that the oath-taking ceremony will take place at the Haryana Raj Bhavan at 4 pm on the same day. Earlier, the Manohar Lal Khattar-led government's cabinet expansion was held on November 14.

Karnataka Cabinet Expansion Inducts New 29 Ministers; No Deputy CM

As a process of expansion of the cabinet, 29 members of the BJP took oath as the ministers at the ceremony held at Raj Bhawan in Bengaluru under Karnataka CM's S.R Bommai cabinet. Reportedly, the cabinet will run without a Deputy Chief Minister. Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot administered the oath to the new ministers. Bommai took oath as the chief minister of Karnataka on July 28.
