Rajesh Verma, IAS Officer From Odisha, Appointed As Secretary To President Murmu
The Cabinet Appointments Committee named Rajesh Verma as President Droupadi Murmu's secretary on August 18. Verma is the Secretary, of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. He is a 1987-batch Odisha cadre Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officer. Verma will succeed incumbent Kapil Dev Tripathi, an IAS officer from the 1980 batch. Haryana Govt Provisions Jobs For Sportspersons Under Dedicated Cadre
Haryana Government has decided to extend government jobs to the state's outstanding sportspersons by creating a dedicated cadre. Under the scheme, the sportspersons would be eligible to seek jobs within ten years of their achievement or up to the age of 42.
