Deadly Pathogen 'Candida Auris' Found First Time In India
In a jointly-conducted research by Delhi's Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute and Pondicherry University, a vicious pathogen has been found in the coast of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Known as 'Candida Auris' or 'C. auris', the pathogen was interestingly found in the tropical marshes, which are not its natural habitat. Scientists Warn Fungus Capable Of Inciting Deadlier Pandemic
Scientists from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have alerted that the next pandemic could originate from a yeast-like fungus.
