Deadly Pathogen 'Candida Auris' Found First Time In India
In a jointly-conducted research by Delhi's Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute and Pondicherry University, a vicious pathogen has been found in the coast of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Known as 'Candida Auris' or 'C. auris', the pathogen was interestingly found in the tropical marshes, which are not its natural habitat.
