Protestors For Domestic Violence Cases In France Interrupt Cannes Film Festival
Protestors caused another disturbance on the Red Carpet of the 75th Cannes Film Festival on May 22. A group of black-clad ladies unfurled a poster and fired black smoke bombs while raising their hands in the air. The names on the poster are those of women assassinated by men in domestic abuse incidents in France. A spokesman for the film "Riposte Feministe" later claimed responsibility for the demonstration.

Deepika Padukone To Be In Cannes Film Festival 22 Jury Panel
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be one of the juries at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. French actor Vincent Lindon who will be heading the 75th edition of the coveted festival jury panel confirmed the same through Twitter, on April 26. Padukone is part of the eight-member jury that will reward one of the 21 films in competition with the Palme d'Or during the closing ceremony on May 28.
