Six Border Police Officers Die As Bus Plunges Into Canyon In J&K
A bus carrying 37 troops from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and two Jammu & Kashmir Police officials slid into the gorge between Chandanwari and Pahalgam, prompting a large rescue mission, according to a police official. Three Died In Himachal Pradesh After Truck Goes Out Of Control
Three people were killed in a road accident on September 2 in the Chamba region of Himachal Pradesh after a pick-up truck slid off the road and plunged into a canyon. However, the police have recovered the deceased's body and identified them as apple-merchants who were returning from Amritsar. "We urge the people to drive carefully and follow the traffic rules... conducting further investigations," SOP Arul Kumar said.
