Near Brahmapuri on Rishikesh-Badrinath road, a car fell into a deep gorge killing three persons and leaving three others injured, on September 9. Following the incident, the injured persons was rushed to a government hospital in Rishikesh for treatment. According to police inspector Ritesh Shah, all the persons were going to Badrinath Dham. Shiv Sangram party head Vinayak Mete passed away in the wee hours of August 14, in an accident. Happened at 5:30 am, Mete's car was involved in an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, leading to serious injuries. Vinayak Mete was one of two people who sustained injuries and passed away while receiving care at the MGM Hospital. Notably, Vinayak Mete was travelling to Mumbai, regarding the Maratha reservation discussion.

In Uttarakhand's Ramanagar, a car was washed away in Dhela river, killing at least nine persons, on July 8. Also, one person was rescued from the incident. Reportedly, the incident occurred at around 5 am, and four bodies have been retrieved. Meanwhile, five bodies are still trapped in the car. According to the Deputy Inspector General of Police Nilesh Anand Bharan, the car is badly stuck.
