A chilling incident of hit-and-run was reported from Nagpur near the Airport road. Visuals from there showed how two bikers identified as Rakesh Gate and Akash Tekam were thrown off the two-wheeler after a car hit them and were recklessly dragged for three kilometres. The car driver instead of attending the injured bikers chose to continue driving on the road. The Nagpur Police is on the lookout for the accused.

In a major accident, six people died, and two were left seriously injured in Uttar Pradesh's Banda region. The incident occurred on the night of June 29, when an over speeding car, said to be driving with 100/kmph speed collided with a truck. The police who rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a community hospital for treatment. In addition, a case has been registered for investigation.

In a recent incident from Kanpur, a woman reportedly new to driving, rammed her car into several parked bikes on the roadside.
