2 Friends Buy Island, Calls It Their Own Country
Gareth Johnson and Marshall Mayer, co-founders of Let's Buy An Island indeed bought an island together. The project began in 2018 when they launched crowd-funding campaign to raise 250,000 pounds through investors. By December 2019 the duo had made enough to buy off Coffee Caye by 1.2 acres of land in Belize. They stated anyone can buy a piece of land for only USD 3250 dollars i.e. Rs 2,48,330.

India Supplies Indigenously Made COVID-19 Vaccines To Jamaica
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on March 9, through a tweet, informed that the "Made in India" COVID-19 vaccines have reached to one more Caribbean nation, Jamaica. The vaccines were supplied as a part of Vaccine Maitri initiative, under which about 1,75,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines have already been dispatched to several other Caribbean countries. Cuba Set To Welcome Tourists After A Span Of Seven Months
Caribbean Nation Cuba is ready to welcome tourists and visitors after easing the lockdown which lasted over seven months. Earlier, Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero had informed that 13 provinces of the nation have been permitted to resume tourism. However, Cuban capital Havana has not been provided the approval and will remain closed. PM Marrero further urged the people to follow COVID-19 norms and precautions.
