Imran Khan's Judicial Custody Extended Till Sep 13
Judicial remand for two weeks on charges of leaking state secrets, his lawyer says. Khan’s custody was extended till September 13 to investigate him in the so-called “cypher” case after a special court held the proceedings on the jail premises in Attock city on August 30. Furthermore, Kan’s judicial remand comes a day after the Islamabad High Court suspended his conviction and three-year jail sentence on corruption charges.

Mumbai Man Loses Rs 1.30 Lakhs In Cyber Fraud
A case of cyber fraud has come to light where a man lost ₹1.30 lakhs without sharing any OTP or clicking on any suspicious links. According to the FIR, Sabirali Ansari (47) a resident of Borivali West, is a sand cement shop keeper. He has two savings bank accounts. He had linked his Union Bank savings account with Google pay and Paytm for online transactions.

Trump Pleads Not Guilty To 37-Count Indictment in Federal Court
Former US President Donald Trump has made history by appearing in federal court in Miami and surrendering to US marshals. He has been alleged of mishandling sensitive government secrets and engaging in schemes to prevent their recovery. However, Trump's lawyer filed not plead guilty to keeping the documents, in the court. This is the first time a President is facing the trials.

Kapil Sharma Sued By American Promoter For Breaking Contract
Amit Jaitly, a well-known show promoter in the United States, accused Kapil Sharma of breach of contract for failing to appear at an event despite getting paid for it. Kapil failed to appear at one of the six shows during his tour in 2015 but pledged to make amends. The promoter said not only did Kapil fail to appear for the event, but he was also unable to contact him.

Congress Lodges Complaint Against Delhi Police For Manhandling Protesters
Congress lodged a case against Delhi Police personnel for mistreating protestors on June 15. The complaint was filed at the Tughlak Road Police Station in the district of New Delhi. “This is blatantly criminal trespass. The Goondaism and Delhi Police has reached its zenith. We are protesting in a democratic way but this goondaism will not be tolerated,” Congress leader Randeep Surjewala stated.

Police Arrests 5 People With Arms & Ammunitions, Investigation Underway
In West Bengal's 24 Paraganas, five people were arrested with arms and ammunition after a raid, confirmed police on May 13. The arrest was after police carried out a raid based on a tip-off at Taldi's Biswaspara Choumatha in the Canning police station area. Notably, they recovered an improvised firearm, one 8 mm cartridge, one 7mm cartridge, a crowbar, a hacksaw, and three lock-breaking equipment. An investigation is underway.

Thane Police Books 8 People Including Doctor For Thrashing, Abusing 36 Year Old Woman
In Mumbai's Thane, eight people have been booked for thrashing a 36-year-old woman. Notably, on May 5, a doctor, hospital staff, security guard and a policeman allegedly thrashed a woman, abused her and then destroyed the crime evidence. Although the incident happened in November 2020, a case was registered a year later, on May 2022, as per the directions of a local court, amid CCTV footage, supporting woman's allegations.

Delhi Police Cracks Builder's Murder Case
The Delhi police has cracked builder Ram Kishore Agrawal's murder case. The victim's body had been found at his home a few days back. He had been attacked with a sharp-edged object. Thanks to CCTV footage and a Delhi Metro Smart Card, the Delhi police has nabbed two juveniles, who committed this cold-blooded murder. Robbery is suspected to be the motive behind the crime.

CBI Registers Case Against Mehul Choksi Over Complaint By IFCI Limited
The CBI has registered a case against Mehul Choksi based on a complaint filed by IFCI Limited for allegedly causing a loss of around Rs 22 crores. "It was also alleged that the said Director colluded with the Valuers and got the valuation of the pledged jewels done with exorbitant and inflated value. The diamonds were allegedly of low quality and not real gemstones," shared a CBI official.

Delhi Man, 2 Others Arrested For Killing Second Wife, Investigation Underway
In North Delhi's Narela area, a murder incident of a woman identified as Mamata was reported, confirmed by police on April 26. Notably, Rishi (36), his first-wife Baby (36), and friend Karan (22) has been arrested for Mamata's murder, Rishi's second-wife. Furthermore, the case was registered based on Rakesh's (witness) complaint, who said that Rishi confessed his crime to him. DCP Brijendra Kumar Yadav is investigating the matter.
