A video has surfaced on the internet showing an abduction attempt carried out by a group of men in UP's Bhadohi. The incident reportedly took place near the Pashchimi Trimuhani of Modh Chowki area in the city on Saturday early morning. The attempt of abduction was captured in a CCTV camera installed near the scene of the incident. However, the attempt failed and case is registered to nab the accused.

A man was killed and another injured after unknown assailants opened fire at them in North Delhi's Bhajanpura area, the police said on Wednesday. According to the police, the incident took place around 11.37 pm on August 29. The deceased, identified as Harpreet Gill, was a resident of the Bhajanpura area, confirmed sources. Another injured is being treated at hospital. A case has been registered, and investigation is underway.

In a shocking incident, a man, residing in Bengaluru, was arrested for allegedly killing his live-in partner by hitting her head with a pressure cooker in the Begur area. The deceased has been identified as Deva (24), a native of Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram and the accused was identified as Vaishnav who is a native of Kollam, Kerala. The couple were living together and were having issues, said police probing the matter. 

Indian actor Bala has been booked for allegedly threatening a YouTuber and his friend after trespassing into his apartment in this port city. As per the complaint, the actor barged into the apartment of Aju Alex, who posts videos on YouTube under the nickname 'Chekuthan', while he was away and threatened his friend Mohammed Abdul Khader on August 5. A case registered is under investigation.
