BSF Jawan Caught Assaulting Woman In Grocery Store In Manipur
A head constable of the Border Security Force (BSF), caught sexually assaulting a woman on camera inside a grocery store in ethnic strife-torn Manipur last week, has been suspended by the border guarding force. A case has been filed against him. The footage from a CCTV camera inside the store shared widely on social media, in which constable Satish Prasad was assaulting a woman.

Police Find Woman Body In Gunny Bag, Probe Underway: Mumbai
In Mumbai's Worli area, a body of a woman, suspected to be between 18-30 years, has been recovered in a gunny bag, on July 5. Upon receiving the information, the police rushed on the spot and sent the body for postmortem. As per the initial investigation, the police found that woman's arms and legs were broken. The police registered a case against the unidentified murderer and launched an investigation.

Andhra Pradesh Boy Burnt Alive, Case Registered
In a horrific incident, a class X student was burnt alive in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. A few people, including the prime accused named Venkateshwar Reddy poured petrol on the innocent child and burnt him alive. As per victim's grandfather, the accused was harassing Amarnath's sister, following which he warned Venkateshwar and had fight with him. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.

Parents Protest Outside School For Playing Azan In Assembly, Case Registered
Kapol International School in Kandivali (West) faced protests by students' parents on June 16, after a rumour that the school played 'azan' during the assembly session. Furthermore, DCP Ajay Kumar Bansal registered a case and started an enquiry. He said the matter will be enquired from all angles. The police filed a case in the matter and launched an investigation. Mumbai Man Arrested For Putting Aurangzeb's Picture As WhatsApp DP
A Mumbai man was arrested for allegedly using Mughal emperor Aurangzeb's image as his Whatsapp profile picture. The case was registered after the issue was raised by a Hindu organisation, following which a case was registered under sections 298 (Uttering words, etc, with deliberate intent to wound religious feelings) and 153-A of the IPC. The Police arrested the man in Vashi, who works in an outlet of a mobile service provider.

Delhi Man Kills Family Before Hanging Himself, Case Registered
A Delhi metro employee stabbed his wife and two children before hanging himself in a grisly murder-suicide case reported from the national capital today. Hyderabad: Muslim Youths Assaulted Hindu Boy In Old City, Case Registered
In Old Hyderabad, a Hindu youth identified as Karthik was allegedly beaten by a group of Muslim boys, for being in a relationship with a Muslim girl. The incident occurred when 19-year-old Karthik went to meet his girlfriend, when Ikram, Ikram, Mohammed, Nayeem and Sohail with two others assaulted Karthik, kidnapped him and demanded money from his father. However, Karthik escaped and registered a case with the police.

Sachin Tendulkar Files Complaint With Mumbai Police
Sachin Tendulkar, the former Indian Cricket Team Captain lodged a police complaint at the Mumbai Crime Branch. The complaint was registered over his name, photo and voice being used in fake advertisements on the internet to dupe people. A case has been registered by the Mumbai Police Cyber Cell against unidentified people under sections 426, 465, and 500 of the IPC. An investigation into the matter is underway.
