ED Seizes Cash, Gold Worth Crores After Raid At Satyendar Jain's Residence
In the recently conducted raid at Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain's residence, the Enforcement Directorate recovered Rs 2.82 crores of cash & 133 gold coins weighing 1.80 kg. The recoveries have been seized under the PMLA from unexplained sources. The raids were carried out on June 6, at the premises of Satyendar Jain and his close aides, after he was alleged of money laundering and is under ED custody.

I-T Dept Seizes Unaccounted Cash, Liquor & Drugs Worth Rs 328 Crore Amid UP Elections
Income Tax Department Authorities have seized cash, drugs, liquor, and other inducements worth over Rs 300 crore so far, a report stated. In addition, Rs 15 crore was seized from Kanpur, Rs 11 crore was recovered by the IT Department and the rest by other agencies. Notably, this is twice the seizure made in the state during the 2017 assembly polls which were Rs 193.29 crore.

Railway Protection Force Detains Man With Cash, Jewellery In Mangaluru
A man travelling on the Mumbai LTT-Ernakulam Duronto express with Rs 1.48 crore in cash, and 800 gm of gold ornaments have been detained by Railway Protection Force in Mangaluru, as he had no valid records available. Identified as Mahendra Singh Rao (33), of Udaipur Rajasthan, the man was handed over to railway police. He was arrested under the provisions of CPC and the Karnataka Police Act.
