Thane: "Har Ghar Camera" Initiative To Curb Crime
With an aim of preventing crimes, the Thane Police launched "Har Ghar Camera". The campaign, urged Thanekars to install a CCTV camera at their residences. CCTV To Be Installed As Per Delhi Court Order At Tihar Jail's Senior Police Offices
The Director General of Tihar Jail has been ordered by the Delhi Court to install CCTV cameras within the offices of the jail's Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent. The court recently issued an order, stating, "It will further reflect transparency in the functioning of these offices." This was in response to an incident on March 27 where an inmate was reportedly mistreated within the chamber of the Deputy Superintendent in Jail.
