India-Pakistan Armies Exchange Sweets On New Year: Jammu & Kashmir

India-Pakistan armies exchanged sweets, on January 1, New Year, along the Line of Control (LoC) at Poonch and Mendhar crossing points in Jammu & Kashmir. "Considering the ongoing ceasefire along India-Pak border, this gesture is aimed at further enhancing peace and harmony in J&K," a statement reads. Notably, both the armies had announced to adhere to the ceasefire across the LoC, in February 2021.

Palestinians, Israeli Police Engage In Clash Again Hours After Truce

Palestinians and the Israel Police were again engaged in an exchange of violence on May 21, just hours after Israel and Hamas agreed on Gaza ceasefire. Biden Pushes For Gaza Ceasefire Between Israel, Hamas

US President Joe Biden has finally started working on a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas as pressure mounts from his own Democratic Party leaders. Reportedly, nearly half the Democrats, which is 28 senators, have favoured for an immediate ceasefire "to prevent any further loss of civilian life". The development took place just after Biden on May 17 approved sale of weapons worth $735 million to Israel.

BSF Busts 3Ft Wide Secret Tunnel In J&K Used To Infiltrate Terrorists

A secret tunnel being dug by the Pakistan security officials to infiltrate terrorists have been discovered by the Border Security Force on January 13 in Jammu and Kashmir. The 3-feet-wide cross-border tunnel was spotted 300-feet from zero lines and 65-feet from the fence on the Indian side. One of the officials stated the Pakistani rangers created ceasefire violations to draw the attention of security forces from tunnel building.
