Congress Celebrates Victory Of Rahul Gandhi After SC Stay Conviction

The Congress in Wayanad and Delhi started a celebration as the Supreme Court's verdict in the 2019 Modi Surname Defamation case was in favour of the disqualified MP, Rahul Gandhi. The party said, finally the judiciary system did justice and stayed the conviction orders of the Gujarat High Court, which announced two-year imprisonment for Rahul Gandhi, leading to his disqualification as MP. Now, Gandhi can reinstate his MP position.

Indian Muslims Celebrate Eid Across Indian Regions

Muslims across India are celebrating the festival of Eid. The festival marks the end of the holy month of Ramzan. In Delhi, people hugged each other after offering namaz at Delhi’s Jama Masjid on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr. Regions like Hyderabad, Maharashtra, West Bengal also witnessed the celebration of Eid, after Saudi Arabia witnessed moon and celebrated the festival after holy month of Ramzan.

Indians Get Ready For 9 Days Navratri Celebration

Chaitra Navratri is set to begin from March 22, instigating the festivities vibe amongst Indian, across the nation.  The event will continue over the next 9 days, concluding with Ram Navami, the day Lord Rama was born. Chaitra Navratri begins on the first day of the Hindu calendar. The grand nine-day festival is celebrated with and devotees of Maa Durga fast for nine days, seeking her blessing.

CM Banerjee Inaugurates Christmas Festival In Kolkata: West Bengal

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, on December 20, inaugurated the 11th edition of the Christmas festival. During the launch at Allen Park in Park Street, Kolkata, Banerjee said, "If we have to restore mental peace, a smiling face is the only alternative. Just like green and clean environment are our only alternative". The festive event will continue till December 31st with local band's performance and Carol songs.
