Mahadev App Is Flowing Money For Campaign, Blames CM Baghel

The Mahadev Betting App and its controversy is continuing, with questions on the Central Government's role into the matter. In poll-bound state of Chhhattisgarh, CM Bhupesh Baghel questioned the BJP-led Central Government, as to why the PM Modi Government is not banning the Mahadev App, as they have received funding from the owner, for election campaign. Recently, ED also filed chargesheet in the case, and named fourteen accused.

Kerala Govt Passes Resolution, Urges Center To Rename State

The Kerala Government passed a resolution in the Assembly session, urging the BJP-led Government to rename the South Indian state as Keralam. Relief To Layman, Centre Plan This Amid Skyrocketing Tomato Prices

Amid the rising prices of tomatoes in India, the BJP-led Central Government came up with a plan to help the common man. On July 12, the Centre directed cooperatives NAFED and NCCF to procure tomatoes from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra for distribution in major consumption centres. The distribution is said to be done in regions where the prices of tomatoes are skyrocketing. Notably, in Indian states, tomatoes are Rs.200/kgs.

SC Cancels 3rd Extension To Sanjay Mishra As ED Chief, Calls Illegal

The Supreme Court on July 11, held as "illegal" two notifications by the Centre granting an extension of service, for one year each time, to Indian Revenue Service officer Sanjay Kumar Mishra as the chief of the Enforcement Directorate and cancelled extension for third time. However, the top court upheld the amendments made to the Central Vigilance Commission, allowing a maximum of five-year tenure to CBI and ED chiefs.

SC Issues Notice To Centre Amid Plea Challenging Ordinance

In a relief to the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi Government, the Supreme Court issued a notice to the Central Government.  On July 10, the Apex Court reviewed the plea against the ordinance passed seeking control of services by the Delhi Government. Manipur Violence: Central Govt Calls For All Party Meeting

The Central Government is conducting an all-party meeting, convened by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on June 24. The meeting was organized to discuss the prevailing situation in Manipur.
