Centre Bans Single-Use Plastics In Order To Reduce Plastic Waste From July 1
The Centre's ban on certain single-use plastics will go into force on July 1 in order to minimize plastic waste. Single-use plastics are often products that are thrown after only one use and are not recycled. To monitor the ban's implementation, Central Pollution Control Board has established a National Control Room.
