Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren was flayed by the BJP for his controversial comments on PM Narendra Modi's interaction with several state chief ministers on May 6. Soren termed the meeting as Modi’s 'Mann ki Baat' and said ‘it would have been better had he listened to, and spoken on important matters.’ Union Minister Harsh Vardhan criticized Soren on his statements and reminded of the Centre-state relations in handling pandemic.
