Centre Hosts High-Level Meeting As India's Monkeypox Total Rises To 4
Centre said on July 24 that a 34-year-old man from Delhi with no history of overseas travel had tested positive for monkeypox virus, making him the fourth instance of the disease identified in India. "A high-level review of the situation has been planned by the Directorate General of Health Sciences at 3 pm Sunday," the Ministry of Health said. Three cases of monkeypox have previously been documented in Kerala.

SC Orders Govt To Provide Information On State's Anti-Hate Speech Laws
Supreme Court directed the Centre on July 21 to provide it with information on the preventative, corrective, and remedial actions taken by state governments thus far in accordance with its previous hate speech judgments within six weeks. A bench of Justices directed the Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs to collect the material into a pamphlet. SC Permits Centre to Retain Mukesh Ambani's Family's Security Cover In Mumbai
Supreme Court granted the Centre permission to continue providing protection to businessman Mukesh Ambani and his family in Mumbai on July 22.
