17 Held In Theft & Chain Snatching Cases During Lalbaughcha Raja Ganpati Visarjan
Seventeen people have been arrested by the Kalachowki police, in separate cases, for stealing valuable items from citizens who had gathered to bid farewell to the Lalbaughcha Raja Ganpati. A total of 13 first information reports (FIR) have been registered by the police. 'Namaste Gang' Members Arrested Following Encounter In Delhi
In Delhi's Shahdara area, police arrested two members of the 'namaste gang', following a brief encounter on August 4. One accused was suffered bulley injuries on his leg, and has been admitted to a hospital. The duo were arrested for their alleged involvement in a robbery case. According to the police, the gang members say 'namaste' to the morning walkers, and snatch their chains.
