Bhim Army's Chandrashekar Azad Says Centre Is Afraid Of Farmers' Protest
A new political figure to join the ongoing farmers' protest against the Central Government's farm laws is the Bhim army president, Chandrashekar Azad. Joining the protest on December 1, he stated that the Centre's use of water canons and tear gas "shows how afraid the government is of the farmers' movement". He said that the government was trying to snatch the lands of farmers to benefit the industrialists.
