ISRO Is All Set To Study Sun With Aditya L1 Solar Mission

After the success of its lunar landing programme - Chandrayaan-3, the Indian Space Research Organisation is now set to make history with the launch of its new mission to study the Sun. Aditya-L1 Solar Mission, is India’s first mission to explore the Sun. ISRO said the launch rehearsal and the rocket’s internal checks were completed. The spacecraft  would be launched by PSLV-C57 rocket, to study the Sun.

After Successful Chandrayaan-3 Mission, ISRO Scientists Eye Solar Mission

After successful Chandrayaan-3, the ISRO is taking another step towards space exploration. The Chief of ISRO  S. Somnath said, they are getting ready with Aditya L1 Mission, which would aim to study the Sun, a first in India. It would be India's first solar mission, which is expected to be announced in the first week of September, followed by a preparatory launch.

ISRO Shares Video Of Rover Pragyan, Landed On Moon Surface

Two days after the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) successfully landed lunar spacecraft Chandrayaan-3 near the moon’s south pole, making India the first country in the world to achieve this feat, the space agency released the first images of the rover (Pragyan). The images were shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, with caption, "“...and here is how the Chandrayaan-3 rover ramped down from the lander to the lunar surface."

Vikram Lander Shares Image Of Moon Surface After Landing Smooth

India's Chandrayaan-3 has landed near the Moon's south pole. The successful Moon mission has made India the fourth country to achieve a soft landing on the lunar surface after the US, China, and the erstwhile Soviet Union, and the first to land a craft near the Moon's south pole. The lander Vikram captured several images of the lunar surface during the power descent, showing a portion of the landing site.

Chandrayaan-3 Creates History With Successful Landing On Moon Surface

In a historic moment for ISRO and India, Chandrayaan-3, after a 40-day journey starting from the Sathish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, has landed successfully. As per the updates, the Vikram lander has successfully tilted to a horizontal position ahead of safe successful landing.  With this, India became the fourth nation to successfully land on the Moon surface. Indians' prayers and hard work of ISRO paid off.
