Relatives Carry Patient To Doctor's House In Stretcher For Being 'Absent' To Hospital
A patient was carried to a doctor's residence in a stretcher, after the doctor remained absent at the District Hospital in Baikunthpur, on May 7. In incident occurred at around 1:30PM in Chhattisgarh's Koriya, when the relatives of the patient were seen carrying him using a hand kart, after the ambulance refused to take him due to alleged "lack of fuel". The doctor requested them to get the patient admitted.

Security Personnel Carry Pregnant Woman To Hospital In Makeshift Cot: Chhattisgarh
In Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district, security personnel carried a pregnant woman who needed medical attention to a hospital, on April 19. Since the roads in the area were allegedly damaged due to naxals, ambulances are reportedly inoperable in the area. Reportedly, when the family members were carrying the woman in a makeshift cot, the District Reserve Guard Force personnel who were conducting an anti-naxal operation, decided to help.

Andhra Pradesh & Chhattisgarh Police Crack Gold Heist Case Worth Rs 3 Crore
As per reports, Andhra Pradesh police cracked a robbery case and seized gold jewellery of Rs 3 crore from Chhattisgarh, on February 24. In addition, the thieves had robbed a jewellery shop in the Vizianagaram district, on February 22. Notably, on receiving a tip-off, Chhattisgarh police working in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh police held Lokesh Shrivas, with 6 kgs and 400 grams of gold.

Rahul Gandhi To Inaugurate 'Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumiheen Krishi Mazduur Yojana'
Chattisgarh CM Bhupesh Singh Bhagel stated that Rah Gandhi will visit the state on February 3 and release the first instalment of "Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumiheen Krishi Mazduur Yojana". According to the scheme, rural landless families are entitled for an annual financial aid of Rs 6,000. The registration for the scheme started in September, 2020. Furthermore, Rahul Gandhi will also lay the foundation stone of "Gandhi Sevagram".

CM Bhupesh Baghel Inaugurates Various Developmental Projects In Bastar: Chhattisgarh
On January 25, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated various development projects in Bastar. "The Ram and Krishna mandir temple premises that were once a bastion of fringe elements have not only been cleared but also has been beautified," Baghel said to the media. The CM also inaugurated a 250 lakh liter sewage treatment plant worth Rs 54 crores and the beautification of Dalpat Sagar in Bastar.

The Top CPI Maoist leader Prashant Bose alias ''Kishan da'' and his wife Sheela Marandi were arrested by Jharkhand police from the Kolhan region on November 14. Bose was carrying a reward of Rs 1 crore on his arrest. ''He was one of the topmost Naxal leaders in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh Board Declares Class 12 Exam Results
The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has declared the results of the class 12 exam at 12 pm on July 25. Reportedly, about 97.43% of students have cleared the exams, clocking the highest pass percentage ever. The examination was conducted from home between June 1-5 amid the Covid-19 pandemic. "At least we conducted exams. CBSE is passing everyone without exams," said Minister Premsai Singh Tekam.
