UAE Based Financer Files Criminal Case Against 83 Makers
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer '83' caught themselves in trouble as a complaint was filed against the makers. Reportedly, UAE-based financer invested nearly Rs 16 crores in the movie and was assured good returns by Vibri Media. However, over not receiving anything in return, the businessman filed a case of cheating and criminal conspiracy against the makers at the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Mumbai.

‘Bluetooth Slippers' Priced At Rs. 6 Lakh Used To Cheat In REET: Rajasthan
Rajasthan police across the state, notably in Bikaner, busted the REET cheating scam. A group of candidates directed by the coaching center owner used calling devices hidden inside slippers to cheat in REET. Over two dozen people were questioned and 40 people have been detained. “A small battery and a SIM card were hidden under the soles of slippers. A Bluetooth enabled micro-earpiece helped them with answers,” officials stated.

Wife Falsy Declares Husband Dead, Obtains Insurance Money
A man from Ahmedabad named Nimesh Marathi has filed a complaint to police that his wife has managed to declare him dead and obtained Rs 18 lakh insurance amount three years ago. However, the police have arrested Marathi's 45-year-old wife Nanada Marathi and the accused doctor Harikrushna Soni for falsy testifying. Reportedly, the doctor had declared the man to be dead due to cardiac arrest on March 6, 2019.

Actor Salman Khan, Sister Alvira And 6 Others Face Inquiry Over Fraud Case
Following the complaint of cheating by a local businessman, Chandigarh police have summoned the actor Salman Khan, his sister Alvira and six others associated with Being Human on July 13. Arun Gupta, the businessman said that he had opened a store under the name of Being Human Jewelry in 2018 but the goods weren't delivered. Moreover, Salman Khan didn't come for the inauguration rather his brother-in-law showed up.

Former Minister M Manikandan Arrested For Allegedly Raping Tamil Actress
The Special team of Chennai police has arrested the Former Minister M Manikandan from Bangalore on June 20, for allegedly raping a Malaysian-descent Tamil actress. Manikandan was booked under cheating, rape and causing miscarriage by the Adyar All Women Police Station. The ex-AIADMK member fled when his anticipatory bail was rejected by Madras High Court on June 16 after failing to appear for his police inquiry.

Kangana Ranaut's Bodyguard Faces Rape, Cheating Charges
Some media reports have claimed that actor Kangana Ranaut's personal bodyguard Kumar Hegde has been booked for allegedly raping his fiancee. However, the accused's identity is disputed as the Mumbai Police claims to be unaware of Hegde's profession and the actor is yet to respond. Kerala Police Interrogates Sunny Leone In Alleged Cheating Case
Actress Sunny Leone was interrogated by Kerala’s Kochi crime branch for allegedly cheating an event management company. The complaint accused Sunny of skipping a 2019 Valentine's Day event for which she had received an advance payment of Rs 29 lakh. However, Sunny maintained that she appeared twice, but the event kept postponing. The police said it would further pursue the case under IPC section 420.
